On June 12, 2009 The Veteran Improvement Program will be attending Standdown 2009 at the Northwest Armory 1551 N. Kedzie Ave. Chicago IL. Please plan to be present. On June 24, 2009 The Veteran Improvement Program will be hosting a Awards Dinner to honor the employers and veterans who have helped to make our program a success. Call the office for details. Hope to see you there. Also every Wednesday starting at 10:00 am VIP will host the Job Ready Workshop which gives education to veterans on job interview techniques and proper business etiquette, to insure employability. We also emphasize life skills, work skills, technical skills and personal skills for individuals with significant barriers to employment. VIP also provides screenings for job openings in our database. Active positions available are; Security, Bus Drivers, Warehouse, Customer Service etc.
